Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As the first point of contact for guests, you'll set the tone for their dining experience by greeting them with genuine hospitality, managing reservations, and coordinating seating efficiently. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their food and beverages promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. In addition to hourly pay, this role includes tips based on guest satisfaction and team performance. Duties Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor Escort guests to their tables and present menus Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or takeout orders Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers in ensuring that all guest needs are met promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the dining room and service stations. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions. Support the front-of-house team by assisting with guest inquiries and providing excellent customer service. Familiarize yourself with the menu to answer any questions guests may have about food offerings. Experience Professional appearance and positive attitude Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a food service role is preferred. Strong customer service skills, with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure Must be available Tuesday-Sunday, with flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
