Duties Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and provide personalized recommendations based on menu offerings Operate POS systems to process sales transactions efficiently Serve food and beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks with professionalism and flair Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue Maintain food safety standards by adhering to sanitation and food handling protocols Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery for all dining orders Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction Uphold cleanliness standards in service areas, including sanitation of tables, bar stations, and service utensils Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or hospitality settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable; experience with drink service is highly preferred Culinary experience combined with spirits knowledge enhances your ability to serve guests effectively Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently during busy hours Demonstrated ability in upselling beverages and menu items to boost sales opportunities Customer service-oriented mindset with exceptional communication skills Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry Experience with wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, beverage service, and food handling procedures is a plus Previous restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not required Join us to bring energy, enthusiasm, and expert hospitality skills to our vibrant team.
