Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Waitstaff/Hostess, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. You will expertly manage guest seating, take orders, serve beverages and food, and assist in maintaining a smooth and enjoyable atmosphere. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems, and seat guests efficiently to optimize flow. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions swiftly and accurately. Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including spirits and wine service, ensuring proper presentation and guest satisfaction. Upsell menu items, including cocktails, wine, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; handle food preparation when necessary. Process cash and credit transactions accurately while managing cash handling responsibilities securely. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, or special requests promptly and courteously. Skills Proven experience in food service roles within fine dining or upscale restaurants; familiarity with restaurant operations is essential. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and sales processing. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that makes guests feel welcome. Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy periods. Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques. Basic math skills for handling bills, processing payments, and giving accurate change. Food safety certification and sanitation practices to ensure a safe dining environment. Experience with food handling, food preparation support, kitchen experience preferred but not required. Strong communication skills paired with hospitality expertise to foster guest satisfaction and team collaboration.
