Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements as a host or hostess when needed Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments Upsell menu items, including wines and spirits, to enhance guest experiences and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, cocktails, and food pairings based on guest preferences Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and preparation processes Assist with beverage service, including cocktail mixing and spirits knowledge for fine dining or nightclub settings Support guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring overall satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of beverage service, including wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to process cash transactions accurately while managing sales efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders simultaneously in a lively setting Basic math skills for billing calculations and transaction processing Previous experience with OpenTable reservations system is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about hospitality!
