As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that our customers have a memorable time at our establishment. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system or OpenTable. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Adhere to food handling safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene standards. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong basic math skills for handling cash register transactions effectively. Familiarity with cash register operations is advantageous. Knowledge of food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help guests create enjoyable dining experiences.
