In this fast-paced role, you will support the front-of-house operations by delivering exceptional service, ensuring timely food delivery, and maintaining a seamless flow between the kitchen and dining area. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our guests while supporting the overall efficiency of our restaurant. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary and customer service skills in a lively, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are met. Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing plates, and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining space. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including plating, garnishing, and organizing orders for smooth service flow. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to relay orders clearly and accurately. Ensure food safety standards are upheld through proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices. Provide excellent guest service by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable. Collaborate with team members to manage busy service periods with energy and professionalism. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards. Experience with serving, bussing, or food preparation enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus. Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for guest interactions. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Prior banquet or hotel experience is advantageous but not required; a willingness to learn is key. Kitchen or culinary experience supports understanding of food flow from prep to table.
