Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Host/Food Runner/Busser to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure seamless service for our guests. In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, and support the food service team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Your enthusiasm, organizational skills, and dedication to hospitality will help foster a lively and memorable dining experience for all patrons. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservation bookings, and seat guests efficiently Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times clearly via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Assist servers by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Clear tables efficiently after guests leave, resetting them for new diners while adhering to food safety standards. Support the host team by managing guest flow during busy periods, including handling reservations and walk-in seating with organizational precision. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions or concerns courteously and professionally, fostering positive guest relations. Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, bus stations, and service stations to uphold high standards of hospitality and food safety. Skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists effectively. Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and etiquette, to interact confidently with guests and team members. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures in a restaurant setting.
