Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Ice Cream Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating delicious ice cream products while ensuring the highest standards of quality and sanitation. If you have a love for food service and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this position is perfect for you. Responsibilities Prepare and mix ingredients according to established recipes to create a variety of ice cream desserts. Operate ice cream machines and other equipment safely and efficiently. Sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment to maintain cleanliness and adhere to health regulations. Assist customers with their orders, providing excellent service and knowledge about our products. Handle cash transactions accurately using cash registers or POS systems, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock is low. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and customer transactions. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service. Willingness to learn new techniques in food preparation and ice cream making.
