Duties Clear and reset tables promptly, maintaining a clean and organized dining area to enhance guest comfort. Safely transport food from kitchen to tables using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices. Assist servers by delivering food orders efficiently, ensuring timely service and presentation standards are met. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash responsibly. Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety protocols. Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure smooth service flow and address any special requests or needs. Handle heavy lifting of supplies or equipment with proper techniques to prevent injury and ensure safety compliance. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with food running, bussing, or supporting front-of-house operations enhances your ability to excel in this role. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for understanding order processing. Experience with banquet or large event service can be beneficial for managing high-volume settings.
