Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros or Aloha POS, ensuring clarity and completeness Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, while maintaining proper beverage presentation standards Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed, ensuring timely delivery of orders Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros or Aloha POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Culinary experience or kitchen support skills are advantageous for collaboration with kitchen staff Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm makes every guest feel valued!
