Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor. Serve food and beverages efficiently and accurately according to event specifications and guest preferences. Set up banquet rooms with linens, tableware, glassware, and silverware, ensuring all items meet presentation standards. Clear tables promptly and assist with bussing to maintain a clean and inviting dining area. Respond promptly to guest requests, addressing concerns with professionalism and courtesy to enhance guest satisfaction. Assist with food handling and food safety procedures to ensure compliance with health standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure seamless service delivery during events. Requirements Prior experience in the food industry or hospitality setting is preferred; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Knowledge of food handling, serving techniques, and food safety regulations. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in catering or banquet service is advantageous; familiarity with bussing and food preparation is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role. Previous hotel or coffee shop experience can be an asset for understanding hospitality standards.
