As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that each guest has a memorable dining experience. Your ability to upsell menu items and assist customers with their needs will contribute significantly to the overall success of our restaurant. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take food and drink orders accurately Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests from guests. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in food service or sushi is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and calculating bills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help colleagues as needed in both front-of-house and kitchen operations.
