Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with professionalism and flair. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and drink orders using the Heartland POS systems Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through POS systems Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience Follow sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is required , particularly breakfast environments Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during peak hours Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial for effective communication with kitchen staff Ability to work flexible hours, mornings and weekends as required by the restaurant's operating schedule Join our team today and be part of an exciting culinary journey where your skills will shine!
