Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally Clear tables efficiently, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing via POS systems like OpenTable, and issuing receipts Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices in line with health regulations Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or food handling tasks as needed during busy periods Assist with host/hostess duties when required, including managing reservations and waitlists for efficient seating Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Knowledge of food industry standards including sanitation, food safety, and proper serving techniques Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experiences and increase sales revenue Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and managing tabs effectively Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn about menu offerings is essential Experience with serving in a nightclub or high-energy environment is a plus Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members seamlessly Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to develop your serving skills, and ready to provide guests with unforgettable dining experiences!
