NONE SUMMARY:
Must be able to attain Certification in Food Safety and Handling.JOB DUTIES
1. Adhere to South-Central Colorado Seniors, Inc., Policies and Procedures. 2. Support and implement the mission and goals of South-Central Colorado Seniors. 3. Assist in the preparation of meals based on the Dietary Guidelines for Older Americans. 4. Assure the safety and hygiene of food preparation and food delivery. 5. Must be familiar with the monthly inventory of food and supplies. 6. Participate in and assist regular food service safety and hygiene inspections. 7. Assist in preparing the delivery of food products and produce. 8. Assist in the yearly inventory of all kitchen equipment and food service supplies. 9. Assist in the documentation required by South-Central Colorado Seniors, Inc. and the documentation necessary to secure nutrition reimbursement. 10. Participate in in-service training. 11. Attend staff and/or content area meetings. 12. Other program-related duties assigned by supervisory personnel and/or director.QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
1. Previous experience in food service. 2. Experience with food service record-keeping preferred. 3. Ability to handle responsibility for the kitchen and request assistance and guidance through appropriate channels. 4. Must show emotional stability and maturity. 5. Sensitive to cultural diversity. 6. Demonstrate the highest standard of personal integrity, truthfulness, honesty, and ethics. 7. Adhere to standards of confidentiality. 8. Must be able to work effectively as a member of a team, establishing an atmosphere of trust and respect.Pay:
