Job Description

A Denny's Server is the primary guest connection in the diner, acting as a friendly conversationalist, advisor, and mind-reader. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking food orders, serving meals with a smile, suggestively selling menu items, processing payments, and completing side work to maintain diner cleanliness. Mornings from 9am to 4pm weekends and holidays are a must. Graveyard 9pm-5am Swing 12pm-8pm or 4pm-12am
Responsibilities Guest Service:
Greet, seat, and serve guests in a warm, timely, and courteous manner.
Order Taking & Delivery:
Record food/beverage orders accurately, keep drinks filled, and deliver items promptly.
Sales:
Recommend specific menu items and achieve check average targets.
Cash Handling:
Complete cash, credit card, and discount transactions and make correct change.
Diner Upkeep:
Clear tables, assist with cleaning, and organize supplies and workstations.
Requirements & Qualifications Age:
Generally must be at least 16 years old.
Availability:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Physical:
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and carry trays for extended periods.
Skills:
