Rooted here in Palisade, Fidel's is a vibrant taqueria. By combining our love for good food and local ingredients, we intend to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our guests, and we need your help! We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team. As a key role in this business, the food server acts as the primary point of contact for guests during their visit. You will collaborate with both the front of house and kitchen staff to provide excellent customer service. Top duties include taking orders from restaurant diners and delivering their food to them in an appropriate and timely manner. Must have day availability Thursday - Monday.

Other duties include:

• Greet customers and engage in a friendly manner
• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into Toast
• Explain the menu to customers and go over any current specials or provide recommendations
• Knowledge of the menu
• Help with food and beverage orders when needed
• Communicate any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
• Ensure all orders are filled quickly and accurately
• Check in with diners periodically to ensure all needs are met throughout the meal
• Address any customer service issues
• Work with busser to ensure a clean dining area
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared and served in a timely manner
• Prepare checks and process guest payments
