In this vital role, you will serve nutritious meals, maintain a clean and safe food service area, and ensure that every student enjoys a welcoming and efficient meal service. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to fostering a healthy, happy school community while adhering to all food safety standards. Responsibilities Serve meals to students and staff in a courteous, timely, and professional manner, ensuring excellent in-person customer service. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, and kitchen areas. Follow strict food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. POS systems. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, warmers, dishwashers, and other necessary appliances. Assist with food handling duties during meal service. Skills Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach when engaging with students and staff face-to-face. Physical ability to handle weight handling tasks comfortably while standing for extended periods; manual handling skills are essential.
