Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient cash handling, and knowledgeable beverage and food recommendations. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and beverage service, possesses strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests warmly, provide menu recommendations, and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials with enthusiasm. Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring all details are captured correctly for smooth processing. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Process sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision. Upsell menu items like wines, cocktails, or premium spirits to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables and reset for new guests as needed. Follow food safety protocols, proper sanitation procedures, and food handling guidelines to ensure guest safety. Assist with opening or closing duties including cash reconciliation and restocking supplies. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring overall satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and resolve any service issues efficiently. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems is essential for processing transactions accurately. Experience in beverage service including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and drink presentation is a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is required. Strong math skills for processing sales transactions quickly and accurately.
