Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Manage reservations using OpenTable or similar reservation systems to optimize seating flow and guest satisfaction Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently Serve food and drinks with professionalism, including cocktail service, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and beverage presentation Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations and product knowledge Clear tables, bus tables (bussing), and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to ensure sanitation standards are met Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales using POS systems, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity Assist in food handling and food safety protocols to ensure quality standards are maintained at all times Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or food industry tasks as needed during busy periods Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters guest loyalty Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly between duties Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Experience with OpenTable or other reservation management tools is a plus Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills efficiently Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a lively hospitality environment Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm makes every guest's visit extraordinary!
