Responsibilities Assist in the timely delivery of food from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Support servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area. Handle food handling tasks with strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage and transportation of dishes. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders and special requests. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating or garnishing dishes under the guidance of culinary staff. Maintain a high level of customer service by engaging politely with guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their needs are met promptly. Support banquet or special event service when required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork in fast-paced settings. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience with food preparation, bussing, or kitchen support roles enhances your candidacy. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to stand for extended periods, walk swiftly between tables, and lift moderate loads comfortably. Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for guest services is key.
