In this lively role, you will support the front-of-house team by ensuring smooth food service, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering exceptional guest service. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a vibrant, efficient, and welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back for more. Responsibilities Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately to tables, ensuring guest satisfaction. Clear and reset tables efficiently, bussing dishes and maintaining a clean dining area throughout service. Support the kitchen staff with food handling, preparation assistance, and safe manual handling practices during heavy lifting or movement of supplies. Maintain cleanliness standards through regular cleaning duties, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and sanitizing work areas to ensure food safety compliance. Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately. Handle food running duties with professionalism, ensuring timely delivery of hot meals and beverages while adhering to food safety standards. Communicate effectively with team members and guests to enhance the overall dining experience, demonstrating excellent in-person customer service skills. Assist with banquet or special event setups when required, supporting the overall guest experience in various hospitality settings. Experience Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing. Experience with food handling, preparation, and safety protocols ensures compliance with health standards. Knowledge of restaurant operations, including bussing, serving, and kitchen support tasks. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices during food delivery or supply movement. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for providing exceptional guest services. Experience working in banquet settings or hotel environments is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is valued highly.
