Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the culinary arts, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and contributing to a positive atmosphere. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast POS systems. Provide detailed menu descriptions and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining attention to detail. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food handling and presentation according to food safety standards. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for processing payments. Uphold sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of menu items and service techniques. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Familiarity with toast or comparable system, or similar systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for guest relations and teamwork. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Understanding of food safety protocols and sanitation practices is essential. Experience as a host/host or in guest services is desirable but not mandatory.
