Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining establishments and possess a passion for hospitality and Italian cuisine. As a Server at Buon Appetito, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and detailed knowledge of our menu and wine selections.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, daily specials, and wine pairings, demonstrating a deep understanding of Italian cuisine and fine dining service. Take and process food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Ensure the timely delivery of orders, coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff as needed. Provide attentive table service, including clearing plates, refilling drinks, and anticipating guests' needs. Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to health and safety standards. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and poise. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Upsell menu items and wine pairings to enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a server in fine dining or upscale establishments. Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, wines, and dining etiquette. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A polished and professional appearance. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Knowledge of MICROS (POS) systems is a plus.
