Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guests' preferences. Utilize POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of quality. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including bussing tables as needed. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards in all aspects of food handling and preparation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Assist with training new staff members on service protocols and restaurant policies. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and requests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is advantageous for understanding menu items. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
