Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with menu selections, including wine and cocktail options. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Serve food and drinks professionally, including spirits and cocktails, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety. Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods while maintaining accountability. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Support food preparation tasks when needed, including basic garnishing or assisting in the kitchen area during busy periods. Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Assist with opening or closing duties as assigned, including cash reconciliation and POS system management. Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Experience Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques. Experience in handling cash transactions accurately using POS systems; basic math skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining excellent customer service. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Prior experience as a host/hostess or in guest services roles is advantageous but not required. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a lively restaurant or nightclub setting.
