Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables efficiently, resetting tables quickly for new guests, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours. Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. Support sanitation practices by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining a clean work environment. Collaborate with team members including hosts/hostesses and kitchen staff to deliver seamless service experiences. Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable for managing bookings and optimizing seating arrangements during peak times. Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or upscale environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing. Experience with culinary settings or food industry roles demonstrates your understanding of food handling and safety standards. Strong customer service skills are essential; previous host/host or serving experience is advantageous for creating welcoming guest interactions. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts ensures prompt service delivery without compromising quality.
