Ice Cream Server / Team Member

About Us Carvel is a fast paced, fun environment serving ice cream and smiles all day and night long. Job Summary Looking for highly energetic, enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team. Would need to be available all year-round, preferably someone looking to be part of our team for the next few years. This business operates at a fast pace and would require being on your feet for 6-8 hr. shifts. If you enjoy working in a fun, energetic and happy atmosphere, Carvel is the place for you. Part-time & Full-time positions available. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends until 12am Responsibilities include: Greet and assist customers in a friendly & enthusiastic manner Take and prepare customer orders according to menu Prepare take-home treats Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately Adhering to food safety guidelines Maintaining a clean shop and workstation Refilling toppings & ice cream products Restocking and organizing all supplies and products

Qualifications:

Must be friendly, outgoing and have a positive attitude Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds up and down stairs Must be able to stand, bend and reach for prolonged periods of time Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task Have basic food handling knowledge and understanding of food safety protocols Have basic math skills Have reliable transportation •Previous experience scooping and serving ice cream a plus
