Teff Stamford is a vibrant Eritrean-Ethiopian restaurant situated in the heart of downtown Stamford. We pride ourselves on accommodating gluten-free, nut-free, and vegan/vegetarian diners, offering a unique and inclusive dining experience.
Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The primary responsibility of this person will be as a server working about 2-3 shifts per week, ideal for a second job or an opportunity to make extra cash. This position is required to serve our guests with excellence. Experience bartending is ideal. This dual role ensures a well-rounded and dynamic work experience in both front-of-house service and bar operations.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional service to guests in the dining area, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders, delivering items promptly. Assist guests with menu selections, including accommodating dietary restrictions. Maintain a high level of quality assurance and cleanliness . Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Schedule:
Primary server shifts would be scheduled within the following hours: Wednesday to
Saturday:
4:00 PM to 10:30/11:00
PM, Sunday:
4:00 PM to 10:00/10:30 PM Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and lunch service is not offered.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a server Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and spirits is a plus. Passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest experiences. •Teff Stamford is an equal opportunity employer.
