Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic servers to join our fine dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional hospitality and a strong understanding of food service operations. As a server, you will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, setting the tone for their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Provide detailed menu knowledge, including daily specials and wine pairings, to enhance guest satisfaction. Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of service throughout the dining experience. Assist with corporate and private catering events of all sizes (20-150 guests). Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary needs or requests. Work alongside all members of the team and management in a respectful and ethical manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant policies as needed. Experience A background in sales or hospitality is preferred, however not required. The right candidate will have positive attitude and strong work ethic, who is willing and able to adapt to our styles of service and requirements, and offer extraordinary customer service. Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with Toast POS systems Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to foster positive guest interactions.
