The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in the food industry and have a passion for hospitality. Duties Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and address any special requests or dietary needs. Help maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including bussing tables and disposing of waste properly. Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guests' needs and responding to inquiries about menu items. Support catering events by assisting with food setup, presentation, and breakdown as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
