This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills, provide outstanding guest service, and ensure smooth event operations. You will be responsible for serving food and beverages, maintaining food safety standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for distinguished guests. Valid ID and Drivers License is a must. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements during government events. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor. Ensure proper food handling, presentation, and adherence to food safety standards throughout service. Clear tables promptly, bussing dishes and resetting stations for ongoing service. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for order processing and billing. Collaborate with catering staff to coordinate meal service and special requests in a timely manner. Skills Proven experience in the food industry with strong culinary and food service knowledge. Excellent guest services and guest relations skills to create positive interactions with diverse clientele. Previous banquet or catering experience is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic math for order accuracy and billing purposes. Knowledge of wine, beverage service, and fine dining etiquette. Familiarity with food handling, food safety protocols, and restaurant operations. Strong communication skills coupled with a proactive attitude toward hospitality excellence.
