Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments Upsell menu items, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage beverage service including cocktail preparation, wine service, and drink garnishing with expertise Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies Assist with food preparation when needed and support kitchen staff during busy periods Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently Build strong guest relations by providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns promptly Requirements Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in fine dining or high-volume settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash safely Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one; knowledge of sanitation practices is a plus Experience with food handling, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a restaurant environment Passion for hospitality with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable experiences Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Embrace the opportunity to grow your career in a lively setting where your energy makes a difference!
