Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with professionalism and enthusiasm Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and food handling Assist with food preparation, garnishing drinks, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and courteously Skills Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant technology Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or hospitality settings Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest relations gracefully Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with reservation systems such as OpenTable is a plus Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences!
