Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests! In this vibrant role, you'll be the vital link ensuring our service runs smoothly by supporting servers, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and delivering food with precision and care. Your proactive attitude will contribute to a lively, guest-focused atmosphere where hospitality shines through every interaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer engagement, and restaurant operations while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Responsibilities Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately to guests' tables. Support food preparation and plating as needed to ensure timely service. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and organizing utensils and condiments. Handle food handling responsibilities with strict adherence to food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Uphold excellent guest services by greeting guests warmly, responding promptly to requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards is highly valued. Prior work in hospitality settings like hotels or catering events can provide a strong foundation for success. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and delivering exceptional guest services. Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, or kitchen experience is a plus for those looking to grow within the hospitality industry. A background in culinary arts or banquet operations can be advantageous but is not mandatory; eagerness to gain hands-on experience is encouraged!
