Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Server/Cashier to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and efficient cash handling. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and satisfied. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, sales, and hospitality within a lively environment that celebrates teamwork and guest engagement. Each night you walk with cash in hand! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, provide menu recommendations, and answer questions about our offerings with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using hand written tickets. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Handle cash transactions accurately. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales, utilizing knowledge of specials and promotions. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring sanitation standards are met throughout your shift. Assist with food handling, preparation, and basic food safety practices to support kitchen staff when needed. Provide excellent guest services by addressing concerns promptly and fostering positive guest relations. Support other team members during busy periods, demonstrating flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, but not entirely necessary. Experience with culinary activities, food handling, sanitation practices, or kitchen work is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or transactions efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated ability in upselling, sales techniques, and providing exceptional customer service. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food preparation procedures is advantageous.
