Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha, ensuring special requests are noted clearly Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Manage tables efficiently and assisting with guest needs throughout their visit Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Assist with food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods when needed Foster guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments Strong knowledge of POS system; experience with Aloha or OpenTable is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes 1 year of serving experience is required Must maintain all required certifications and licenses for lawful alcohol service
