Responsibilities Efficiently deliver prepared food from the kitchen to tables or designated service areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist with food plating, garnishing, and presentation to uphold quality standards before serving. Support the cleaning and organization of work stations, including clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining a tidy dining environment. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays, boxes, or supplies following safe lifting practices. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special guest requests or dietary needs. Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness standards throughout service. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, contributing to overall kitchen operations. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus; strong communication skills are essential. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Experience in bussing, cleaning, or supporting banquet events is advantageous. Excellent in-person customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
