Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met Upsell menu items including specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales Manage guest relations by addressing questions about menu options, wine pairings, or dietary needs Support opening or closing duties such as setting up stations or cleaning work areas to ensure smooth operations Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders in a fine dining setting Skills Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management Proven experience in food service roles with a focus on fine dining or upscale environments Strong beverage expertise including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and drink service Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Effective time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs seamlessly Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation practices in food handling Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction Previous experience with serving in a restaurant environment with a focus on hospitality excellence Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation processes is a plus Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively Join us as a Server where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences!
