Responsibilities Deliver prepared food and beverages swiftly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist with food preparation tasks, including plating and garnishing as needed, to support kitchen operations. Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave, resetting them for new diners while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Buss tables efficiently by removing used dishes, silverware, and trash to maintain a clean dining area. Support host/hostess staff by managing guest waitlists, providing accurate wait times, and guiding guests to their tables with friendly hospitality. Handle basic order taking when necessary, using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist in smooth service flow. Maintain excellent in-person customer service by engaging with guests positively, addressing questions or concerns professionally, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures. Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail and cleanliness. Excellent communication skills coupled with friendly phone etiquette for guest interactions. Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and order accuracy. Experience with beverage preparation, dishwashing, and catering services is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude and guest-focused approach.
