Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, acting as a welcoming host/hostess. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales, utilizing knowledge of the menu and specials. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering functions, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations. Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently during busy hours. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Assist with food handling, food preparation support when needed, and uphold sanitation standards throughout your shift. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing purposes accurately. Experience with reservation platforms like OpenTable is advantageous. Culinary experience or kitchen background can enhance your ability to support food prep when needed. Must demonstrate professionalism in guest relations, hospitality, and serving standards.
