Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, utilizing tools like OpenTable for reservations when applicable Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper processing of sales transactions Provide detailed menu descriptions, including wine knowledge and cocktail options, to enhance guest experience and encourage upselling opportunities Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation while adhering to food safety regulations Process cash and credit card payments efficiently, handling cash transactions with accuracy and professionalism Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff with food handling and sanitation practices Engage with guests to ensure their needs are met, addressing any concerns promptly to foster positive guest relations and repeat business Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Demonstrated ability in beverage service, including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink service techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail in order-taking and serving Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash safely Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bartender is advantageous Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks like bussing tables or assisting in the kitchen as needed Join our team if you're passionate about delivering outstanding service in a lively environment!
