The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food and beverage orders are accurately taken and delivered, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with a strong knowledge of food safety, wine, spirits, and beverage service, is highly valued. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Upsell menu items such as wine, cocktails, or special dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Assist with food handling, sanitation, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations Refill drinks as needed and manage beverage service including spirits and cocktail preparation (if qualified) Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables as necessary Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations and handle any concerns professionally Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation protocols is desirable Experience with food handling, food preparation, or kitchen operations is beneficial but not required This role provides an engaging work environment where hospitality skills are valued.
