Responsibilities Efficiently deliver prepared food from the kitchen to tables or designated areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained. Assist with clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold high standards of hygiene and guest comfort. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays, boxes, or supplies using safe lifting practices. Support food safety protocols by properly handling food items during transportation and serving. Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders and special requests. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including setting up stations or restocking supplies. Provide excellent in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their needs are met promptly. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Experience with bussing, cleaning, and general restaurant operations is advantageous.
