In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional guest service while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions smoothly and efficiently Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items, wine pairings, and specialty drinks to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and adhering to food safety regulations Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions about menu items like wine knowledge or cocktail options Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is highly preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and sales processing Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a lively dining atmosphere Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and open table reservations is a plus Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in food handling and sanitation practices Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and foster guest satisfaction Join our team as a Server where your enthusiasm meets your expertise!
