Job Summary We are seeking experienced Servers to join our high-volume waterfront restaurant, renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items including daily specials Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring timely delivery Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage multiple tables with professionalism, ensuring guest needs are met promptly and courteously Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Use OpenTable for reservations management and coordinate guest seating efficiently Foster positive guest relations through attentive service and personalized interactions Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations Requirements Proven experience as a server in high-volume or waterfront restaurants; fine dining experience preferred Proficiency with Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable reservation systems Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving, bussing, or host/hostess positions is highly desirable Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a lively waterfront setting Knowledge of culinary terminology and kitchen operations is a plus Join our vibrant team where your expertise will shine!
