The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires effective communication skills and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction within a fast-paced environment, such as a hotel or restaurant setting. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and special requests. Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including helping with food handling and guest services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including the kitchen and dining spaces. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, offering assistance as needed. Support banquet operations by assisting with food setup and service during events. Skills Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience in a hotel or restaurant environment preferred, but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation techniques is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude with a willingness to help others, contributing to an excellent guest experience.
