We are hiring a Waiter / Server to work in a fine dining restaurant . Candidates must provide polished, attentive service and meet high standards for professionalism, food knowledge, and presentation. This hands-on position includes full table service, preparing your own guests' drinks, preparing and servicing hookahs, bussing your tables, and completing assigned side work. Responsibilities Welcome guests professionally and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit. Know the menu, ingredients, cooking methods, beverages, and daily specials well enough to explain dishes and make recommendations. Take orders accurately, enter them promptly into the POS system, and communicate allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Follow fine dining service procedures, presentation standards, and established steps of service. Monitor food timing, check order accuracy, and ensure dishes arrive properly presented. Prepare and serve your own guests' drinks , including cocktails and nonalcoholic beverages, following approved recipes and presentation standards. Follow all age-verification and responsible alcohol service requirements. Prepare, set up, and service guests' hookahs , including safely handling and replacing charcoal and following sanitation, ventilation, age-verification, and fire-safety procedures. Bus your own tables throughout service , promptly removing used dishes, glasses, utensils, and trash. Clean, sanitize, and reset tables between guests. Check guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, and address concerns professionally. Present checks accurately and process payments according to company procedures. Keep your section, service stations, and surrounding dining area clean and organized. Complete all assigned side work in addition to your table-service duties , including opening and closing checklists, polishing glassware and silverware, preparing table settings, cleaning equipment, and restocking supplies. Assist teammates as needed to maintain smooth service during busy periods. Requirements Minimum 5 years of restaurant service experience, including experience in a fine dining restaurant. General customer service experience alone is not sufficient. Some hands-on culinary or food preparation experience is welcome , with an understanding of ingredients, cooking methods, food safety, and presentation. Ability to explain dishes confidently and recommend food and beverage pairings. Experience preparing cocktails and other beverages accurately and consistently. Experience preparing and servicing hookahs safely. Strong communication skills, professional presentation, and excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tables and maintain fine dining service standards under pressure in a high-volume environment. Ability to work in hot and cold environments, including near food service areas and in refrigerated storage areas, with appropriate safety measures. Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including standing for extended periods and carrying service trays, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned side work thoroughly and on time. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a team-focused attitude. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay:
$24.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
