Duties Greet guests warmly and guide them through the sushi menu with enthusiasm and detailed knowledge of offerings Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct delivery of dishes Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities Serve sushi and related dishes with precision, maintaining high standards of food presentation and safety protocols Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly to accommodate new guests during busy hours Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or sushi establishments Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing and cashiering Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that enhances guest interactions Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Experience in upselling techniques to boost sales and improve guest satisfaction Background in hospitality or food industry roles such as serving, host/hostess duties, or nightclub service is a plus Join us to deliver exceptional sushi experiences that delight every guest!
