Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your enthusiasm and hospitality skills will create memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure swift processing Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently upheld during food handling and service Clear tables efficiently, bussing dishes and resetting tables for new guests while maintaining cleanliness standards Manage cash handling duties accurately, including processing payments via POS systems and providing correct change Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is a plus Demonstrated ability in customer service with excellent communication skills and guest relations expertise Experience with food preparation, food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for cashiering transactions Knowledge of restaurant operations including serving protocols, food safety regulations, and hospitality standards Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during busy service hours Prior host/hostess or bussing experience is beneficial but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a dynamic setting!
